About a month ago I proposed to my girlfriend, Mia, with the intention of getting married in December. She currently lives at home in Torrance, CA, but would like to move down here in mid-September and be in the area for a few months before we get married so she can start developing connections down here. I am wondering if anyone knows of anyone that has an opening in housing for mid-September through mid-November for little, or no, cost as Mia does not have a job as of right now.

Looking for a Roommate to Move in With Me in Carmel Valley 2BR/2BA Condo I have been attending New Life for a few months now, but I'm not a member as of yet. Here is some information about my situation/place... I live in Carmel Valley (close to Del Mar and not too far from UCSD) and my roommate is getting married, so I'm either trying to find a roommate to move in or I'll look for a 1 bedroom place if I need to. I went to UCSD for my undergraduate degree and then went to nursing school and I'm working at Scripps now. My roommate could move out anytime between Aug 1 and Oct 1 (it should be pretty flexible). If the rent stays the same (which it probably will) it is $1550. It's a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. Each room has an attached bath (which I love)! Right now, I am in the room that is just slightly larger and my roommate has let me use the carport parking space (there is plenty of close parking though)... so given that, we have it split so that I'm paying $800 and she is paying $750 (plus utilities... we don't pay for water). We can work things out if it needs to be changed somehow. I love the location... we are a block up from Vons and close to other shopping areas... it's quiet, easy access to freeways, and I totally feel safe here. The washer/dryer is in the condo. We have a pool and spa, tennis courts, fitness area, sauna, and a club house you can rent out that is pretty neat. It's about 2.6 mile drive to Torrey Pines beach.
